Our Urban Farm

This past autumn we moved into a small and modest house in downtown Kelowna. Can you guess what the best part about a small house is?

A Big yard!

We immediately started scheming how we could turn all that lawn into an abundant and beautiful urban farm. Considering sun and shade patterns in our yard we started to sketch. The design is still evolving as we try to allocate space for: vegetables, fruit, culinary and medicinal herbs, flowers, mushrooms, and social spaces.
